Research
I work on Immersive AI Systems at the Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown in Lisbon: therapeutic environments under real-time AI control, where sensing and generative models close the loop with the patient — movement rehabilitation for Parkinson’s, exposure therapy for OCD, and more to come. Alongside: agentic coding and AI for science — how agents can verify their own code, and write literature reviews whose citations are real, peer-reviewed, and screened for retractions.
Before Lisbon: a PhD in neuroscience and machine learning at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig, postdoctoral research on ultra-high-field fMRI at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in Tübingen and at the Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance in Copenhagen, and four years as co-founder & CEO of an applied-AI company in Cyber Valley.

Art
Founding member of Lunar Ring, an AI art collective exploring generative models as a new kind of instrument — played live, in real time, in museums, festivals, and public spaces; featured in the NVIDIA AI Art Gallery. There is also a TEDx talk from the early days.
